This shows the William Parsons' family for their first U.S. census taking, having only been in the states several months. Elizabeth was only 2 years old. Her father, William was working "at pottery" while her mother, Mary, stayed at home to care for Elizabeth and her siblings: Fred, 5; Mary, 3; and Laura, 7 months old.
