Documents/Sources:

1. "Mr. Marshall Makes Correction," The New York Times, 4 June 1885, page 8, column 1.

2. Napoleon Caraccioli household, 1900 U.S. census, Middlesex County, New Jersey, population schedule, Woodbridge Township, enumeration district [ED] 71, supervisor's district [SD] 4, sheet 17A, dwelling 219, family 295.

By 1900, Napoleon was living in his home on Blair Road with his third wife, Myra and their 5 children along with his sister, Caroline. He was working as a marine engineer while Myra remained at home with the children.

3. Napoleon Caraccioli household, 1910 U.S. census, Middlesex County, New Jersey, population schedule, Woodbridge Township, enumeration district [ED] 55, supervisor's district [SD] 2, sheet 4A, dwelling 57, family 62.

By 1910, Napoleon was farming his land and is listed as a produce farmer. While the census lists Napoleon's marriage as his third, this was only Myra's first. The home was busy with 2 of their five children remaining home; Myra's brother, Oscar Marshall, living with them; as well as Napoleon's 80 year old sister, Caroline. If that did not make it busy enough, they also had a boarder, Peter J. Nelson from Denmark, living with them.

4. Myra A. Caraccioli household, 1920 U.S. census, Richmond County, New York, population schedule, borough of Richmond, enumeration district [ED] 1622, supervisor's district [SD] 3, sheet 15A, dwelling 311, family 353.

At 50 years old, Myra was living in Richmond, New York with her son Charles on Arthur Kills Road. While he was working as a fireman on a tugboat, Myra stayed at home.

5. Myra A. Caraccioli death notice, (1943) unknown newspaper.

6. Myra A. Caraccioli death certificate, no. 4393, (1943), Bureau of Records, Department of Health, Borough of Richmond, New York.
