This census shows Edwin Bloomfield living with his mother and father on Blairs Road in Woodbridge. The family consisted of Napoleon (58); his second wife, Myra (31); daughter, Mary A. (10); son, Edwin B. (9); daughter, Caroline (5); an unnamed son, who would later be named Charles (5 mo.); and Napoleon's sister, Caroline (70). Napoleon is listed as a "Marine Engineer."

The 1920 U.S. census shows Edward, at 28, living with his second wife May and two daughters, Adele and Claudia. At this time they are renting a home at 22 West 53rd Street, in Bayonne, New Jersey. Edward is working as a "pumper" at Standard Oil.

By 1930 the Caraccioli family owned their own home at 140 Wood Avenue in Richmond county, New York. A brother, Thomas W., was born just under 2 years prior to the census. Edward was still working for Standard Oil.
